The Beauty of Black & White Photography!

To me, photography is an art of observation. It is about finding something interesting in an ordinary person, thing or place. I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with just the way you see them. I model for photographs as much as i get behind the lens because photography is my love affair. Over the weekend Andiwa and I went Black & White on set and it was just amazing, he glowed with each shot he took and wouldn't even let me preview them .
Why go B&W? Some photos definitely look more convincing  in black and white,they have a classy and exquisite feel about them and have an aesthetic, artistic look that is hard to produce in colour plus Black & White hides imperfection in the skin such as uneven skin tone and blemishes :)

When you photograph people in colour,you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in Black and White,you photograph their souls!

Understanding your camera; shutter speeds

Being glamorous is about strength and confidence. It is black and white-dramatic. You have to be strong!

Its is not easy taking your own advice, accepting what you don't like hearing and seeing the gray in black & white!

The great thing about getting older is that you become more mellow. Things aren't as black and white and you become more tolerant. You can see the good in things easily rather than become enraged as you used to when you were younger.

Be still...and let the shutter capture the moment :P

Colour is everything! Black &White is more :) !

Colour can be a distraction, and take away from the root the story the photographer is trying to tell.

There is no exquisite beauty without some strangeness in the  proportion. Turn imperfection into beauty!
